Kaiju No. 8 Season 2
怪獣8号 第2期
Available on
Following the massive operation that led to the confinement of recent recruit Kafka Hibino, otherwise known as Kaiju No. 8, the Defense Force has been puzzled by how to deal with him. Kafka is the first kaiju to side with humans, and after careful consideration, he is eventually transferred to the Defense Force's First Division in the hope of adding his power to the strongest division, capable of handling any threat. However, some people are still doubtful about Kafka, and he must prove his worth in the next mission. Kafka and the First Division are soon dispatched when a massive horde of ant-like kaiju begins wreaking havoc. Thanks to the combined strength of Kafka's friend Kikoru Shinomiya and their captain, Gen Narumi, the mission seems to progress as it should. However, when Kafka fails to transform into his kaiju form, the dreadful Kaiju No. 9 joins the battle with only one goal—to eliminate him and steal his power. Although the situation is looking grim, Kafka must overcome his most difficult trial yet with the others if he wants to keep pursuing his dream: fighting side by side with his childhood friend and Third Division captain, Mina Ashiro. Kaijuu 8-gou: Kanketsu-henSequel · How watching this pays the artists
Every time you watch Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 on a legitimate streaming service, a portion of that revenue flows back to Production I.G, the voice actors, the composer, and the animators who made it. Subscribing or watching on an ad-supported tier is how the work continues.
Where the money actually goes
Streaming services pay licensing fees to the production committee that financed the show. That committee distributes revenue to the studio, the publisher of the source material, the music label, and the broadcasters who originally aired it. The animators themselves are typically employed or contracted by the studio; their pay comes from the studio’s share of these licensing dollars.
Piracy doesn’t reduce streaming-service revenue evenly — it removes the underlying viewership that justifies future licensing investment. Less licensing investment means smaller studio budgets, lower pay for animators, and fewer shows greenlit.
Torinagi surfaces every legitimate option so you can watch on the service you already pay for, or on a free ad-supported tier if one carries this show. We never host video.
